Jade Ewen, the UK contestant, thinks her first rehearsal was fantastic and the stage setting and size amazed her: “You go on stage, and you see 50 thousand seats before you! This gives you a great feeling!” Jade liked it in Moscow: she says it is her favourite place of those she has ever been to.The singer said she was keen to achieve the same level of success that Celine Dione had, and she also cited Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Amanda Jackson and Aretha Franklin among her influences.
Jade has appeared in episodes of popular British soap The Bill, but also mentioned an Australian TV series she had appeared in listen. When asked to compare TV work with singing she replied thus listen.
