Portugese Dreams

The Portuguese band opened the press-conference with a happy “Privyet” (Russian for ‘Hello!’) to greet journalists at the press-centre. What makes the six-member Flor-de-lis so unique is that they use a lot of music instruments - over 15 of them for their Moscow performance, the smallest of which is a tiny guitar that was specially made for the contest in Russia listen.

Lead singer Daniela explained that ‘Never stop dreaming’ is the message of the composition listen. Daniela called on all her fans to live in love and peace and not to fear mistakes.

Although the group has existed for as little as nine months, it already has an extensive experience in performing in concert halls and open air venues. But it is for the first time that the band will perform at a stage as big as Olympiyskiy.

The band refused to disclose details about their stage costumes. It is certain, however, that they will use photos for the show. “These will reflect how I interpret the meaning of our song”, Daniela remarked.

The Portugal delegation was represented by: Daniela VARELA (lead artist), Jose CAMACHO (Backing artist), Jorge MARQUES (Backing artist), Ana Sofia RODRIGUES (Backing artist), Pedro MARQUES (Backing artist), Paulo PEREIRA (Backing artist).
